Description
Tear Aid is a very fine, flexible, yet extremely strong pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) that when attached with care, will provide an almost invisible permanent repair to most natural and synthetic items and materials.
It only requires pressure to stick permanently to any surface – there are no messy solvents or heat required for activation and adhesion.
Unlike other repair solutions, Tear Aid is versatile, it’s effective, it’s non-toxic, it complies with AS 1230-1993 (R2016), and it’s safe to use in all circumstances.
Type B is to be used only on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or Vinyl materials. PVC is a thermoplastic made from 57% chlorine (derived from industrial grade salt) and 43% carbon (derived from oil or gas via ethylene). It is the chlorine that gives PVC its excellent fire resistance.
Type B Tear Aid is manufactured specifically for repairs to Vinyl and PVC surfaces only.
